Quinoderm - Antibacterial facial wash #Review

I don't know about you, but when most people think about spots or Acne they associate it with adolescents - or teenagers - with lots of overactive hormones leading to outbreaks of spots, but realistically this is not always the case. In some cases spots and blemishes never disappear, for others it may be the case of them reappearing later in life, and this can happen for lots of different reasons hormone surges, stress, worries, changes in weather sometimes it can even be down to different foods.

For myself I am a thirty one year old woman and I am one of those unfortunate people that never seemed to grow out of the spotty teenage years the only time I ever remember having completely clear skin was in the end stages of pregnancy - my skin changes like most are caused mainly by hormonal changes, once a month like clockwork an outbreak always occurs, how I look forward to them........

I am always looking to try new products that are around on the market, I know for myself or should I say, I have come to accept that there is not going to be a miracle cure - in my case anyway.
Quinoderm asked me if I would like to try out there antibacterial facial wash, which of course I said yes.

The Quinoderm facial wash comes in quite a plain white bottle with a blue label, I'm not sure if I had seen this product in a shop on the shelf I would associate it with something to help to combat spots without having heard about it first or picked it up and read the label.

I was quite surprised when I opened the bottle and got quite a strong smell of mint - I usually pick products that are fragrance free, most of which are usually colourless, Quinoderm is quite blue in colour, although once you have applied it onto your face obviously it looses it colour.

The wash is really simple to use, its like very much like a hand soap - quite thick in consistency and you use it in the same way, applying the water first to your face, then applying the facial wash paying particular attention to the troublesome areas like the sides of your nose, cheeks, chin and forehead and then rinsing it off thoroughly.

The facial wash definitely made my face feel fresher and clean, on about day four - five  of using it I have to say that I thought my face looked worse more spotty and it had dried it out quite significantly, However having used other treatments, I know sometimes things get worse before they get better - so undeterred by my breakout I continued on with the facial wash.

After around ten days I thought that my skin looked a lot clearer, granted I am not completely blemish free but my skin does look and feel far better than it was before using the antibacterial facial wash, I also started to use a mild moisturiser after using this product which I would definitely recommend as this product does dry out the skin.

Over all I was very pleased with Quinoderm facial wash, It didn't completely rid my skin of blemishes but there is definitely a significant improvement and I will be continuing to use this product - I will also be looking at some of the other products in the range as they have quite a wide range of treatments available.
