Aquaflex Pelvic Floor Exercise System for Women #review

Aquaflex is a popular system of vaginal weights designed to improve pelvic floor strength and treat stress incontinence (leakage of urine e.g. with coughing and sneezing).

The Aquaflex Pelvic Floor Exercise System has been specifically designed to improve the strength of your pelvic muscles quickly and easily. The Aquaflex cone is simply positioned in the vagina in the same way as a tampon. By inserting an Aquaflex cone into the vagina, your pelvic floor muscles automatically isolate and contract around it in order to hold it in place. It is this immediate reflex action that helps to tone the muscles and strengthen the pelvic floor.

As I said in my previous post, It is very important to exercise pelvic floor muscles correctly.

When I told my friends I had accepted an Aquaflex to review, they all laughed I think they all thought I had gone mad, of course I am not going to be posting pictures of this product being reviewed, no one wants to see lady bits, However all jokes aside pelvic floor weakness can be a very serious issue for women as they get older. Having weak pelvic floor muscles can lead to all sorts of different and sometimes serious problems.
This is how I got on with Aquaflex when I reviewed it I found It very easy on insertion, I have to say this takes a bit of messing/playing about with to get it into the right place, it also takes a while to work out which is the best weight and cone to start with, well actually there more like bullets than cones!. Once you have worked all that out you need to use the cone when you are busy, standing up so perhaps in the morning while getting ready for work, or like me whilst you are washing up and getting the kids breakfasts ready.

I have to say I have not got the strongest pelvic floor after having two children, the higher amounts of weights just wouldn't stay where they were suppose to, without being to graphic they would just slip out when I stood up. After a week of using this product I think my pelvic floor is slightly better but this is a slow gradual process, be warned this is not a quick fix you have got to use Aquaflex daily and gradually build up to the higher weights, once you have built up to the higher weights like any muscles that need building on you have got to keep at it to see results.

This product should NOT be used during intercourse, whilst using the vaginal diaphragm or cap, during pregnancy, If you have had a prolapse, if you are having a period and if you have a vaginal infection.

If you have any other complications or are worried in anyway about using this product you should contact your local health professional.

I have only been using the product a week and I can already feel the benefit so after 12 weeks which is the recommended time of using this product I would imagine you would see a huge difference in your pelvic floor. I would recommend buying and using this product its far easier than pelvic floor exercises.

  3. I haven't had any children and I'm only 24 but I still find myself leaking a wee bit, which leads me to believe my pelvic floor muscles aren't quite the strongest either o.O

This seems like a very interesting product to try out! Good for you for accepting this review; there's nothing wrong with maintaining a healthy lifestyle :)

  8. Exercise is an important thing, lots of people are not easily doing simple exercise in their daily life. Many people are not well known about the health benefits of walking exercise, if they know the health benefits, afterwards they will surely follow in their regular day to day life.
