Chillfactor, Squeeze cup Slushy maker #Review

A few weeks ago we received the ChillFactor Slushy maker to review, the ChillFactor is a giant plastic cup that you, simply fill with a juice of your choice squeeze and you get a slushy drink - perfect with the summer months coming around and Liam absolutely loves his ice creams/Lolly's so I knew he would love to have a go at this.

OK so mummy was a bit silly when I got this - I didn't read the instructions properly I whipped it out of its box popped it in the freezer and when it had been frozen for 4-6 hours I took it out of the freezer poured in some room temperature juice and squeezed, well the squeezing just made the juice come out of the top, the juice was a little bit slushy but not as I expected, you may ask why? well because you have to use juice that has been cooled in the fridge before you put it in ChillFactor cup.

I gave the cup a good wash out, it all comes to bits quite easily for cleaning purposes and I placed it back in the freezer for another 4-6 hours. This time I was armed with cooled juice, I poured the whole lot in - not good again I had overfilled the cup so even though I had a lot of slush in the bottom of the cup I had more mess on the side rather than anything else.

Third time lucky, the cup went back in the freezer for a further 4-6 hours, I was surprised how good the cup still looked after already being squished and squeezed a few times and washed it hadn't lost any of its shape.

This time when I removed the cup from the freezer, I filled it just over the half way mark, with some cooled juice and with the help of Liam we squished and squeezed the cup, It was actually like magic I have no idea of the science behind the cup but it really does work, in no time we had a fabulous slushy drink. The moral of this post always read instructions before using something new!

The only thing that I didn't like about the cup is that the drinks that come out of the cup is only enough for one child or Adult, so if you have two children like me really you would need to have one for each child to keep them both happy!

This Cup is going to get lots of use throughout the summer, its a great way of saving money on ice Lolly's!  and a great way to help the kids or adults cool down on a hot day!

*we have been sent the ChillFactor cup for the purpose of this review all opinions expressed remain honest and my own.
