Dear Mum,
I want to say thank you, I know being a mum is not an easy job, if I said that to you, you would just shrug and stand so proud of the three children you have, no matter what was asked of you, you have been there for all of us from the beginning. With some pushy and wise advice you have given us, it will carry us through the years, with any mistake we ever made you were always there to dry our tears, you were always there to understand.
I was asked last week If I to take part in Thornton's Christmas Hero competition, basically its like a Secret Santa but with chocolate.
They asked if I had someone whom I thought deserved a box of chocolates and I choose my mum.

You put no limits on my dreams or anything else I have ever wished to do.
The smile and tears upon your face when I achieve my proudest moments provides me with more value in my heart then you’d ever believe.
There will be no other person in our lives that will shape our hearts like you have done,
This year mum I know its been a rocky road through triumph and catastrophe, hard times and despair, for you lost your mum and one of the most wonderful women we all ever had the pleasure of knowing, I know that it is still painful for us all, there was never a single moment that past us by where you wasn't there for us all, your selflessness is amazing and inspiring.
There are not enough words that can thank you for everything you have helped us with both emotionally and physically. For all that you have done and continue to do we love you, so I am sending you a box of Thorntons with a huge hug and with thanks.
Its not nearly enough for what you deserve but hopefully it will put a smile on your face and end this year knowing that no matter what we will always love and appreciate everything you do, so enjoy your box of chocolates you truly deserve them.
With love
Helen

My mum was sent a box of chocolates chosen by myself to say thanks for being my hero from Thorntons
