Wonderful Pistachios #Review

I was asked if I would like to try Wonderful Pistachios and Wonderful Almonds. I love both nuts types of nuts so I was more than happy to try them, the different flavors sounded really intriguing Sweet Chili and Salt & Pepper Pistachios! Wonderful Pistachios are also available in Roasted & Salted and Roasted No Salt.

All flavours contain around 570 calories per 100g and can be found in Waitrose, Ocado, Julian Graves, Holland & Barratt, Tesco and Sainsbury's.

I was also sent Wonderful Almonds these come in 3 flavours: Roasted & Salted, Raw Natural and Blanched. I was sent a couple of bags of the Roasted & Salted flavour. These contain 593 calories per 100g.

Pistachios make a perfect accompaniment to a bake, whether sprinkled on top or in a nutty loaf. Wonderful Pistachios are easier on the waistband than most snacks and include a whole host of vitamins and minerals.

I first ones I tried were the Sweet Chili flavour, I thought that these pistachios tasted fantastic! I don't generally like things that are too hot and but some how the hotness of them made the taste extremely moreish I couldn't stop eating them. At the same time as being hot they had a fine sweetness to them I have to say one minute their was a full bag and the next they were all gone - Delicious

The Salt & Pepper, also tasted great but I didn't enjoy them as much as the first flavour, black pepper is something that I enjoy a lot although not something that I have tried on nuts before, however it was a fabulous tasting combination.

The 3rd bag I was sent was Roasted No Salt. I had never tried nuts with out any salt so I didn't know which I would prefer but from tasting them I have decided that  I do generally prefer salted nuts but these were still tasty and ideal if you are trying to be a bit healthier. And did you know if you are following the Slimming World diet, you can have 28 of these as a B Choice which I think is great!

Almonds are not really favourite of mine but these did have a great taste not too over powering and I enjoyed the crunchy-ness of them! I enjoyed the roasted flavour the best!

As I said before You can pick up a bag of Wonderful Pistachios and Wonderful Almonds from Tesco, Waitrose, ASDA and Sainsbury’s. for around per £3.19 (250g).
